Margarita Glass Wedding centerpiece ideas?

I am having large margarita glasses as a Wedding Centerpieces. I would like for them to have no liquid in them but to have some sort of clear crystals etc…and I want to light up the glasses somehow in a dark purple color. What kind of light do I use in purple and how do I keep them light from being visible? Also, I am going to put some sort of diamond dust on the rims for the salt affect.
I can not locate any products in the craft stores that give the illusions I want….

In regards to the lights, you could try using floralytes – but, I’m not sure if you will be able to get it Deep Purple. You can try these. You may have to put two or three in each martini glass to get the effect you want.
